Who are you?

I’m Ruby. I used to be a buyer for a bookstore. I was a founding editor of Mynah Magazine. My work has been published in places like Mekong Review, Vulture Magazine and Portside Review.

What’s in the newsletter?

Tote Bag Library is where I publish work I don’t want to pitch to other outlets. It’s. so nice to be free from deadlines. I write cultural commentary and book reviews here.

How do I get in touch?

You can hit reply to any Substack email and it’ll land in my personal inbox. I respond to every reader email, I love hearing from you! The newsletter has both a Twitter and Instagram but you don’t really want one more account to follow and I don’t really enjoy the constant churn of posting.
